APPEARANCE At first glance, Harpuia appears to be a younger Reploid, both from being slightly shorter than adult Reploids and from the more youthful face that he was designed with. With or without his armor, his thinner frame is fairly obvious, and all this combined can make it so that people who don't know his name sometimes take him less seriously. However, his commanding and dangerous aura is obvious to anyone who can sense such things. IN ARMOR | OUT OF ARMOR PERSONALITY The Kings were made and raised by X and Zero, but were forced to rise through the ranks of the Maverick Hunters before being given armies. As such, they're no stranger to hard work, and while they might grumble at a loss of position, if X or Zero agreed with the demotion, then clearly they did something wrong and any of them would jump at the chance to fix it, learn, and re-prove themselves. Because X prefers a more peaceful role, Harpuia -- much like the other Kings -- is fascinated by his "mother's" strength. Training with X is always exciting because it's not as often as Zero, and when X is on the field -- rare as it is -- Harpuia finds himself utterly enraptured by the sheer grace and absolutely crushing power that X can show. It's a similar power to what Zero shows, of course, but the fact that X does it so less often makes it far more impactful. As the leader of the Four Heavenly Kings, Harpuia tries his best to keep his siblings in line. While this doesn't always work, persay -- even loyal and with the same goals, they are four individuals -- he still does what he can to help keep them organized. Loyalty is the name of the game. While he isn't so devoted as Phantom, Harpuia is utterly loyal all the same, willing to do whatever it takes to serve Master X and to protect Neo Arcadia. While he is similarly loyal to Commander Zero, he does hold the military commander in slightly lower esteem. Because of his loyalty, he carries out any orders given to him from Master X or Commander Zero without question. While he thinks this is what a proper soldier does, he does try his best to listen to the lessons X and Zero are teaching him, aware that they don't believe in such blind obedience. It is a hard set of lessons for him to take, however, and their success is... limited. Pride, pride, pride. Harpuia is prideful; of his strength, of his loyalty, of his devotion. Wounds to his pride sting him deeply, regardless of what they hit or how good the intention was, and he finds the idea of being in debt to an enemy humiliating. However humiliating it might be, though, Harpuia has learned that debts should be repaid; with his allies, or at least those neutral, he is content enough to repay it as needed. With enemies, however, he struggles; while he's willing to repay it if he can, he will never do so if it would bring anything even as small as irritation to Neo Arcadia. Harpuia does his best to keep up the image of a "powerful warrior", thinking that's what he should be. This means he tries to stay stoic and calm at all times, being in control of all things, which gives him the aura of being uncaring some of the time. Despite his control, though, strong emotions can and do break through, and it can be very difficult for him to keep in check if he's immensely distressed. This actually extends to trying to be fair when he can. Taking out a downed enemy isn't something either of his parents would do, after all, and as such, Harpuia tends to show mercy if he comes across one while they're unconscious or weak, as well as if an enemy surrenders. The one exception to this, however, is if the enemy has actually caused harm to Master X; in that case, while he still won't kill them while unconscious and will accept surrender, he will show no mercy to them otherwise. Because of X's policy of Reploids and humans being equal in Neo Arcadia, Harpuia is fully trained and as willing to use force, or other means, against humans as he is Reploids. To him, having been born in that world of equality, there is no social difference between the two. Amusingly, Harpuia's stoicism is completely shattered when it comes to anything dealing with X. He is incredibly weak to his Master, and even something as X's displeasure can twist in Harpuia's gut and make him upset. Zero has a similar, if lesser, effect on him, though instead of feeling guilty and upset, Harpuia tends to feel ashamed if he meets with Zero's disapproval. He's not only one of the Heavenly Kings, he is their leader; such a thing shouldn't be happening. He enjoys fighting as much as his other siblings, but in a different way. For Harpuia, the pain in the fight is as much of a rush as the fight itself, adding to it because of the response it brings out in him. He's not masochistic, persay; it's only the pain of heavy combat that brings out that pleasure, rather than pain itself, but it's a mistake some people do sometimes make if they see him fight. After all, in such a state, Harpuia can't keep his calm act up. Also much like his other siblings, Harpuia enjoys fighting Zero, though not quite to the degree that Leviathan or Fefnir do. As such, he's less inclined to jump on a challenge attempt, but that doesn't mean he isn't in line whenever one comes up.

ABOUT Like his three siblings, Sage Harpuia was created at the request of X and Zero. Because the world needed massive terraforming to be habitable, but the very act of doing so was dangerous, the two knew they had to find some way to put together a group that could handle both aspects of it. After some debate and discussions with scientists, the best way that was found would be to mix X's and Zero's DNA into a single Reploid, then duplicate it and make minor changes in order to create a small unit that could handle both sides. X and Zero both agreed, and so the Four Heavenly Kings were born, though they wouldn't be given that title until much later. Harpuia's schematics were mostly based off of X's aerial combat and lightning-harnessing capabilities. As the "eldest" of the four, he was often the first in line to test things, handle things, work on things, and as a direct result was also often the first in line to receive promotions or more responsibility. He was the first of the four to rise to the rank of S in the Neo Maverick Hunters, thus being granted a Commander role and the command of what would later be known as the Fierce Sky Army. He was also given command of the Four Heavenly Kings officially, though unofficially they still tend to act as fairly even-ranked soldiers. In terms of terraforming, Harpuia has the ability to sense pollution or corruption in the air and track its source, as well as the know-how to purify the air itself and what filters can clean out what aspects of pollution, whether smoke, smog, or anything else. He also knows the best way to lay out trees and plants to produce oxygen, as well as the best way to lay them out so that there isn't too much ground to care for at once, but there's plenty of clean and working air for everyone who needs it. He cannot, however, do much when it comes to purifying or cleaning the earth itself, and only knows how to handle the plants enough to work with the air. ABILITIES Harpuia was, of course, created with terraforming abilities. He knows how to purify air of almost any pollution or corruption, he knows how many plants are needed to support an area, and he knows how to arrange them to make handling them easy. He can also detect any pollution and track it to its source, making it easy to cut the problem off at the root. He can fly by himself, without need for outside help, though he does sometimes ride on Mechaniloids if he needs to. He can manipulate weather perfectly, but only in a very small area that's centered on himself. The area he can control is smaller than even a normal village, but as this is mostly used for things like dealing with droughts or in combat, he doesn't need to affect too huge an area to make it useful. He is an extremely strong opponent. Physically, his body is immensely durable, being made as close to X's and Zero's as possible, though he is weaker than the two of them (even individually). Skill-wise, both X and Zero have trained him intensely, and as such, he has the mind and will of a soldier, meaning he can keep fighting even when badly wounded and is not dissuaded even by traumatic sights, simply forcing them away to process later once he's safe. He is also incredibly agile and fast, which -- when combined with his wind and lightning control -- can make him extremely hard to deal with for those who don't come prepared to handle a quick, airborne opponent and the weather itself turning against them. And even some that do come prepared find him too overwhelming to handle. His weapon specialty is a pair of twin blades known as "Sonic Blades", two of the Ten Shining Weapons created only for the very top-class Maverick Hunters (with the others being his siblings' weapons, as well as the X-Buster and Z-Saber even though those weapons were ones X and Zero always had, rather than being specially made). The Sonic Blades are the only Blades that can stand up to the sheer heavy use and toll that Harpuia's specific moves impart on them -- every other weapon has simply broke under the strain. Specific move-wise, these are the ones Harpuia favors: Sonic Boom: Dashes upward and releases a combo of three crescent shaped slashes towards opponent. Plasma Bit: Levitates in the air and fires off several homing projectiles. Inazuma Drop: Grabs an opponent to take them upwards, then smashes them down into the ground with heavy force. Triple Slash: Lands and launches three energy waves from his sabers. Can follow it up with a Sonic Boom. Thunder Strike: Controls lightning to strike directly where the opponent is standing. Mirage Dash: Uses all his speed to dash into the opponent and both slash and impact them at the same time. Thunder Prison [EX SKILL]: Harpuia flies out of the opponent's range, then focuses intensely to create a raging thunderstorm around the nearby area in a circle to trap them. He also creates a cyclone to toss any enemies around like rag-dolls and throw them towards the thunderstorms.
